f15h True Techie Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 105	how do i install knoppix??!! I need to install knoppix to my hdd... fast. I have a windows 2k ntfs partition, currently mounted. I want to at LEAST make a persistent home dir if not completely install knoppix, but I can't write to the hdd because its ntfs. How do I get this to work? please help fast!!! thanks in advance, fische __________________ *les poissant souples*

roryf Newb Techie Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 5	isnt there an appropriate format option in the knoppix installation? (i assume your booting from cd like i do for knoppix)

f15h True Techie Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 105	my problem was with the main installer. I got into the cmd terminal fine, but the program to install (i think its in /usr/bin? ) wasn't found. got gentoo running though thanks anyway. __________________ *les poissant souples*
