Default How do I get my sound card to work in linux?

How do I get my sound card to work in linux?

During install it said at the end it would have me configure my sound card. However that option never came up. I have no sound. Please help.

Try changing the output codec for your mediaplayer.

Its in the settings. Use XMMS player.
