My sister deleted some important files from "programe files". I managed to recover some from the norton protected recycle bin but there are still a number of errors on the computer. How do i set my computer back to the day before the files were deleted. Some of the errors has caused my computer to crash everytime i put a cd into the cd or dvd drive.

i'm guessing you have a windows computer because u sayed "recycle bin" and that's windows. try a system restore. go a week before the problems started to happen that should be a fast fix for you. take it easy

Yeah, wrong forum for that. If you can't restore the integrity of the system, and if you can't determine exactly what has been deleted, and if the pc continues to act crazy, i'd just go ahead and do a reformat and install everything from scratch. Maybe fate is telling you it's time to reformat anyway? LoL.
