Smile Heh...trash bin not working??

Ok, ever since my attempt at putting KDE 3.5 on my Slack 10.2 installation, the trash bin won't delete anything, it just freezes in the middle of all of it. However, when I click cancel is clears everything from the trash bin...

So, when I deleted some big folders (several gigs) to free up some space, even though my computer says they are gone...they aren't gone from the computer??? They still show up as taking up space.

Why don't you use Gnome? I find KDE buggy and poorly designed.

Are you waiting a long enough time, even though the program seems to have crashed the gui may have stopped responding whilst its deleting the big files.

I don't work with KDE, so don't know if this is a common problem or not. If I were you I'd find out were the Trash folder is kept, normally ~/.Trash and then delete the contents from a terminal

It's never been that big...I just find it one of the stranger problems I've had.
