Question Have Linux... now what?

I installed Suse for dual boot with my XP to explore the Linux world. After fixing some incompatibilities and getting Suse to operate correctly... I've run out of things to do with Linux!
I've downloaded a couple of different programs (most similar to programs available for windows) and that's it.
I know many people prefer to use Linux, but what else could I explore with it?
I'd like to learn how to use it and what it is good for...

its good for everything windows is, its more stable, and best of all its a multiuser system

what do you want to do with it?

Here's some of the things I do that cant be done in windows:
multiple desktops, I use fluxbox window manager, right now I have 8 desktops, which means I can leave programs running and just flip to a different desktop instead of minimizing and maximizing individual windows all the time

I can log in from anywhere and use my system

I can log into another linux machine and use it remotely

several people can use my machine at the same time, and sometimes do

linux has the best media player on the planet, and I use that constantly

I can easily automate things to run at scheduled times, I do that alot too, for example, I wrote a very short little script to rip a DVD and burn it on a CD-R, all I have to do it load the DVD and tell it to run and it does the rest

right out of the box I can write software in java, fortran,C,C++,ada, bash shell, korn shell, the C shell, ash,Qt,tcl/tk, etc etc

I have a TV card and can record stuff either on demand or scheduled, and the software was free

I can edit video, for free

I can edit sounds and record sounds, for free

the question isnt what you can do, its more like what cant you do, the answer to that is play a wide variety of games, other than that, you can do prettymuch anything, and not have to worry about viruses, crashing, having to pay for software, and having to have super fast and often times expensive hardware

I have a small partition for Linux, so I quess I'm just decided if I have enough room for different programs. And if I have enough patience to learn code and script!

what media player would that be?

Also the only thing i dont like about linux is the fonts. I installed the windows truetype fonts, but when i use them they still look different, i want the the windows fonts exaclty. does anyone know how i can adjust it to that?

also the fonts in my browsers, konqueror and opera are nasty too. very big negative to linux for that

You could also try and make your own live CD like Knoppix. That kept me busy for a while. If you don't want to do that Linux From Scratch is also pretty fun and you learn alot from the experience.
