Default Hardware firewall distro?

So I've been tossing around the idea for a hardware firewall for a little while not. I have a spare PC I could do it with, its just a matter of "when". So today I got to thinking of it while I was bored at work (slow day), and I was wonderin of what distro of linux I should go with that would be suited for a h/w f/w. Looked up some hardware firewall guides, and some mentioned Devil Linux, and the DL page even seems to say its meant for firewall use. How is Devil Linux for a hw fw distro? Any better versions that are still fairly easy to setup/use?

Talking to Carnage on MSN he wants to use this as a gateway between his Router and his PC's for better clarification.

I have been using IPCop on a Pentium 3 for quite a while now and I am very happy with it. Current uptime is over 100 days on standard PC hardware (two NICs for obvious reasons) and a laptop HDD.
