Default Guide to get Atheros Chipset WLAN cards working

Well, I recently had a problem with my brand new Compaq C769US laptop. The wireless would not work. Googled around and tried several different things, all of which wouldn't work. Then I found this guide that explained on how to get it working. If you have an Atheros 5007(EG) chipset on your WLAN card, then use this guide:

[ubuntu] AR5007 Atheros Madwifi Hardy 8.04 32BIT I386 INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP - Ubuntu Forums

Worked like a charm for me.
