if web what browser are you using?
if pop, are you using evolution?

In my College they Have Linuz installed .. and the browser which provided is MoZilla... and when i open gmail.com

it juz says unable to open to page..

I Donn know what is the problem..

I donn have the root password..

I think that's more of a college problem...I use GMail in all three of my browsers in Linux with no problems.

yeah ... can you get to ANY websites?

i can't imagine your college would block the use of webmail!
If my college did that, i wouldnt go there!

maybe the site was just down that day or something.

all other websites got open.. it is juz ***** Gmail which i m unable to open since last 2 weeks..

Else the link works pretty well

gmail was blocked at my old school, but if i typed mail.google.com instead of gmail.com, it seemed to work
