Default FTP Server Suggestions

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a good hardware specification for a dedicated FTP server. I am going to need about 1-2Tb of storage? It will be running from linux.

Thanks

P.S. Sorry I have posted this in 2 forums wasn't sure which one it should be in as this is going to be running of linux.

It really depends on your budget. If it's going to be used for non-commercial purposes you could build a PC with lots of hard drives.
If you need something more professional you could look for a server from DELL of HP for example.

As johnyB_24 said I would strongly recommend looking at a vendor like Dell or HP to get a "server grade" machine to run it from. They should be able to assist you as far as what features would best suit a server of that size.
