Default Freeware office suit.

Hi everyone,
I was thinking of installing an office suite software in my PC. Of course the first thing in mind was the Microsoft Office. Changed my mind as soon as I saw its prize. So, now I am looking for a freeware office suite. Can you guys suggest any good freeware office suite?

OpenOffice is going to be the best. Espically for Linux. There are specific apps out there for just word processing or Databases or spread sheets. But nothing that is combined into 1 pack like OpenOffice.

You could just go with Google Docs and that as well.

Like the others suggested, OpenOffice is the way to go.

It's so solid that we have incorporated it into several hundred of the 1,000 new Windows computers we got instead of using Microsoft Office.

It definitely gets my vote.

Openoffice is the most complete.

Abiword is a VERY nice simple wordprocessor though, and deserves mention.
