Default Fedora Core 5 inst. problem

I am trying to install Fedora Core 5 in VMware and I get this message:

An error had occured - no valid devices were found on which to create a new file system. Please check your hardware for the cause of this problem.

I am running UBUNTU under VMware without problems.

thanks.

Check your VM settings, make sure your VM harddrive is IDE and not SCSI.

I don't know, maybe Fedora 5 (which is the old version) doesn't support vmware SCSI but I find that hard to believe.

I just know a lot of stuff... lol
