Default fedora core 3 Internet?

I have linux fedora core 3 and i want to use my dsl connection on it. Could any one tell me how to..?

I have an ethernet port, the disk and everything.

If it's an ethernet connection, and FC3 detected the card during installation, make yourself root, and type ifup eth0

It detects the card when im under hardware devices... so if i make my self root and type that in it'll work..?

that was weird... i booted up linux and it said it was trying to get internet from something. It failed, and then it tried another one and it said everything was "ok."

*sighs* i don't know if i'll ever be able to use linux :/

When you have got the ethernet (for ex. eth1 up) then type this command as root if you dont get any connection:
dhcpcd eth1
or
dhcpd eth1
