Well basically if you have the CDs then you can boot from them. Set the option in your BIOS to boot from the CD drive first. Then restart your computer and the installation should start. You will need to partition your hard drive as well, so Windows (assuming that's what you're using) and Linux can be on the same hard drive. I don't know if the installation will do this for you.

i have installed it into my PC.
but now i faced several problems.

i have only one HDD and i partitioned it into 3 drive (C, D, G)
after i installed FC3 in G drive, it disappeared when i open my computer in Windows...how could i make it visible again?

besides, in FC3, i also cant view the files from other drive such as C and D.in addition, i cant even browse the internet. i don't know how to configure the networking in order to access the Internet.

i am new to Linux, hope somene can help me...
thank you...

You don't necessarily want to make a Linux partition visible in Windows unless you install one of the Services for Unix packages; chances are you may screw it up accidently thru Windows.

1. What are your C and D drives formatted as? (NTFS, FAT32, etc.)
2. Are you using a modem, a wireless card, or a modem to connect to the interne

for the internet, try running internet-druid from console (or it's under the system settings somewhere in Gnome)

i am using wireless adapter and cable to connect to the internet.
in fact, i also don't know how to configure the USB settings.
it may not recognize my USB port. (my assumption, have not test yet)
so, what can i do now?
thank you

From a command prompt type.... dmesg | less
^

That's the pipe symbol that you get from pressing shift-\

Then read through that and see if there are any lines indicating that your USB controller was recognized and installed.
