| I'm a newbie to linux, when install fedora core 6 x86_64 it prompts with bug everytime it start to install step(right after choosing which program: office app, software dev, server) here is the screen shot of the bug |

| Member (again) | First of all, if you still have the ISO image that you burned to CD, you might want to dump the MD5SUM and make sure it matches what is provided by the Fedora Core people. Use this utility to check: etree.org | md5sum.exe |

| i agree, i recall during one of my experiences with Fedora (FC4 i think) receiving similar messages that turned out to be a result of a scratched and dirty disc. hence it could be a corrupt ISO or a faulty/damaged disc. i think the Fedora disc should have an option to check the MD5 sum against the disc before install.
