| Member (again) | On my Mac, on the keypad of my keyboard, I have the sound up/down/mute and Eject keys, like a lot of other Macs. Problem is, I can't figure out how to get them working in Linux. I thought about using xmodmap, but when I ran xev to figure out their key codes, nothing came back, even though all the other "normal" keys worked. And Google is being all of NO help right now. Anyone know how to tackle this problem? TIA. |

| probably have to approach this from the standpoint of which GUI your using, it will be different for KDE vs GNOME vs fluxbox, same with the filemanagers, midnight commander has a way to setup hotkeys or keystroke shortcuts for example.........I dont think you can do this globally |
