Default Duel Boot (FreeBSD 4.9/WinXP) MBR Problem

I was running freebsd 5.1, and I switched down to 4.9 for a few reasons. But anyways, I was duel booted just fine previously with WinXP home. So now I go in and install 4.9, peice of cake, blah blah blah everything went fine.
And I go and install the BootMgr just like I did the first time, and it said everything was successful. But when I start up my comp, it gives ma choice of win xp or freebsd, but when I choose freebsd, the screen goes black and it reboots automatically and goes back to asking me which OS to start.
Any ideas on how I could fix this? Thanks in advance

I'm using the standard BootMgr that comes with the freebsd install. And no I don't have a boot disk.
