Default Dual booting help.

I installed Ubuntu FF yesterday. And I have failed. Chaning partitioning went fine, installing went fine. Restart when it asks me to. It goes into XP. Which leads me to thing GRUB didn't install/properly. I am at a loss to what to do now so any help is greatly appreciated. Ubuntu is installed on the same hdd as XP but on a different partition so I can't use the BIOS boot loader.

Thanks, Trif.

I've installed it for the 3rd/4th time to check where it is placing GRUB. It is on HD0 which is the MBR? Which is right?... I'm at a complete loss here. Nothing is really turning up on the internet either. Just how to reinstall GRUB to HD0 after a install of Windows.
