Default dual boot

I want to set up my PC so I can have both windows 2000 and fedora 5 linux on it. I already have win 2000 on it. The question I have is can it be done by downloading it from the web only or does it need to be done via CD? Please let me know. I appreciate any help.

TIA

Tia,

I searched the Fedora Core Website and found this, have a read: Alternative Installtion methods you can D/L it via CDrom HDD FTP or HTTP. For FTP you will have to specify the location directory from where you want to D/L it

http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/fedora...l-methods.html

hope this Helps somewhat, so sorry I can't be of more help

Giovanni, you can dual boot with Window and Linux. You'll need to download all 5 CD or the DVD iso. You will need to leave Windows parition active then boot with the CD/DVD, Fedora has the ability to create partition. Create a second primary parition and format it with ext3 (recommended). You can choose to create a swap partition also but you don't need it if you have alot of RAM. Swap partition should be about 1.5 or 2x of your RAM. When it ask to install LILO or whatever bootloader it uses go ahead and install it. Take note of the partition name else you might choose to install it in the wrong partition.
