Never used Arch. I like SUSE and Ubuntu. IMO Ubuntu is probably the most user friendly. While SUSE has the most functionality.

I have used or tried the following *nix os's. I have installed some of them while I tested others using vmware or virtualbox.

xubuntu 6.06
Kubuntu 7.10
Ubuntu 7.10
Ubuntu 8.04
OpenSuse
gOS
PC-BSD
eeebuntu NBR
OpenSolaris

So far PC-BSD has been my favorite.
