Default Debian and JigDo

hey guys,

Ive been trying to get Linux up and running for a few days now but i can t seem to get it working. I started with RH 8.0 on disk but they turned out to be bad copies and didnt work. So i discovered Debian and the cool program of JigDo for dowloading and assembling the images. Well i cant seem to get Jigdo to work for me, Ive got all the .jigdo files and template files on my pc but i cant seem to point to them, and it will not accept any web address i give for the file online. It keeps saying they do not exist. whatever. anyway if anyone can point me in a direction that EXISTS id appreciate it.

thanks
