I just installed Linux on my computer and the first thing it says when the install compleats is something about a program (or system file) crashing. After that I Reboot the computer and nothing else happens. Then i go to install/add aditional programs from the CDs and it keeps saying that the following file will not install (file name), and won't install anything. I ordered new cds got them but the same thing happened. What can i do???
You need to provide more details. We need crash information, your distrobution, what happens on bootup (you mention it not doing anything, but you try to install stuff from from cd). Give us some more info and mabey we can help. I cannot read minds.
