can i use wine to play counter-strike:condition zero? if not is there someone who will let me use there cedega account?

wine doesnt support 3d acceleration AFAIK so probably not
you'll need cedega or windows to play it

okay i got it to work *kind of*

steam runs, but theres all sorts of visual distortions when im playing and i get half the FPS than i do in cedega

oh, and dx9 doesnt run, so the water looks like trash, and it crashes whenever theres to much action happening at once


edit: rebooted and now it runs just fine ^_^

now i can probably close my transgaming account

ok i got it installed and steam is working.. but when i start it that dumb steam update windows pops up and i can't close it.. how do i get rid of it?

nvm got it fixed.. but when i go to steam it's fine it's 800x600 but when i launch condition zero, it gets really small and wont let my mouse move outside of the game.. how do i fix this?

cant help you there, it was fullscreen 1600x1200 for me right from the get go, but it was still having problems, til i restarted then it was fine
