When you install linux,redhat in this case, it will ask you if you want to partition the drives during the intstall, this is the normal way its done, it probably gives you the option of letting it do that on its own as well, and if its going to be on its own drive, let it do that if it wants, just point it to the right drive.
Usually, its just a matter of using fdisk during the install process and partitoning a drive, you need a minimum of a linux partiton, and a linux swap partition, redhat usually wants several partitions, one for /boot,one for /root, one for /usr, and one for /
