Default Re: Amarok

They're not allowed to distribute it with MP3 support for some reason.

Try this: MP3 support for amaroK | Ubuntu Linux

so should i download this one?

gstreamer0.8-ffmpeg

discription as follows

FFmpeg plugin for GStreamer
This GStreamer plugin supports a large number of audio and video compression
formats through the use of the FFmpeg library. The plugin contains GStreamer
elements for encoding 40+ formats (MPEG, DivX, MPEG4, AC3, DV, ...), decoding
90+ formats (AVI, MPEG, OGG, Matroska, ASF, ...), demuxing 30+ formats, and
colorspace conversion.

FFmpeg
GStreamer: open source multimedia framework

Okay well amarok runs and it sees all the files but like when i go to play something it just says populating playlist 100% and gives me a little watch next to my mouse and never does anything... whats going on?

All is resolved now i have fixed the issue thanks for the help and thanks for recomending me to amarok Mak i like it alot.

is there anyway i can keep my drive mounted instead of having to go back and click on the drive to get it to mount? i mean its not a problem that i gota do that but im just curious.
