|  add/remove programs problem ok hears a new problem i just found, when i go to the add/remove prgrams program it opens and it won't let me select on items that are not installed on my computer, what do i have to do to let me select the programs i want to install. and yes i am connected to the internet. and by the way when ever i go to Adept manager its listing 937 programs and saying that i have installed all of them, i thought there were more programs to select from, and i do not think i installed all of them. |

| alextrzaska, yeah make sure your Root try: sudo -s then you should be able to select the programs you wish to install and then you can add the programs. with the Apply button (I think) Or you can try this Link: http://monkeyblog.org/ubuntu/installing.html Jake |
