Default 2 HDs and networking ?

I'm going to be running two HDs, an 80gig for Slackware 10.1 and a 160 for Win Xp Pro. I would like to be able to transfer files back and forth. On the 160gig HD I will be creating a NTFS partition for the Win OS, can i also use NTFS for the rest of the HD?

I would also like to be able to access the files off of the 80gig HD through my network, is that possible?

if you want to have a partition than both os's can read and write to fat32 is your only choice. i have a fat32 partition on my pc and it works great, i don't have to try to keep all my data "in sync" anymore.

try using FAT32 in your partitions this way you dont have to worry about compatibility when transferring files.... you can also access your hd in your network if you enable its file sharing.... hope this helps
