Second, by "Degree" I do not mean certifications. Certifications only matter when desired by the individual company. The fact that you have a MSCE or A+ or ODBA certification means jack if the company doesn't have that listed as a plus for the job. Associates degrees don't mean much these days. Especially if you have no working experience. A full degree, such as a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, IT, etc, weighs a lot more on your resume. Some companies won't hire people who just have an associate's degree. They want a bachelors degree minimum.

| the best way to find out, is figuare out what type of feild you want to enter. Then go to a job search website and type that in, and look for what employers are looking for, best way to find out i guess. if your still young like me (17 years old) then here is my plan: summer 2005- get network+ comptia certified summer 2006- get A+ certified somtime in the year 2006---go to college and study computer science. During the four years in college, I will try to get a decent paying job by having those two certifications. thats as far as i've planned :P |
