| I need some information about how to start a business building custom computers for clients with specific needs and who lack the knowledge to build a custom computer themselves. Right now I'm trying to come up with a plan, like how to get business loans and where to advertise and whatnot. What I need to know is where do places like Tigerdirect, Newegg and the local computer stores get their hardware? Is there some kind of wholesaler that sells the hardware exclusively to businesses for low prices? After all, Newegg and whatnot must be selling the hardware at a higher cost than what they paid for it. I figured I could sell a custom computer for the exact price all the hardware costs (no income earned) but then I could charge something like $150 for labour. Since I can usually have a computer built and running in less than half and hour I could earn large amounts of money for very little time put into working. I would like some input and suggestions on this. I would also like to know (as I previously stated) where do places like Tigerdirect, Newegg and the local computer stores get their hardware? |

| $opening = "::wavewave::"; $echo = "Tigerdirect and such places purchase from over seas in bundles. Those types of places will not sell an item unless you purchase a minimum amount of them. Say you want to purchase a hard drive, you can get them dirt cheap if you purchase 100 of them at one time. There are very few places that will sell you a single part at wholesale price. They are out there, just EXTREMELY difficult to find, and any one with any experience in the field of reselling will do every thing they can to keep their source a secret. I don't really have any advice at this time, but I wish you the best of luck!"; |
