| This is a real big step for me, job wise, because I have an interview for a network admin spot. I was wondering, for those who have been in this position before, What kind of questions do they ask you? |

| Master Techie | When landed my job they asked me some really basic questions. I suppose they just want to make sure they dont hire someone who cant easily answer the questions Some of them I got were what does DHCP stand for and what is its purpose. What is the purpose of a DMZ. What is a VPN used for and how does it work. What are the TCP/IP classes....very basic stuff that any network admin should know. It really depends on the employer. |

| Junior Techie | i know the answer to most of those... i thought it would be alot tougher... although i havent gone out much to look for that satisfactory job. still planning to pursue the a+ cert. and CCNA to boost my credentials. just that after college time is so much tighter... |
