I was just wondering, what kind of qualifications are really necessary in order to get an MCSE certification. My brother recently got one but he has already gone through college for programming and the whole works. I was just wondering if you need a good background of computer coursework in order to get noticed w/ an MCSE certificatoin.

the mcse's integrity are being degraded by bootcamps & plentiful amount, but would prolly get you in the door to a company. I'd imagine MCSE is **** hard & expensive. Buddy of mine is paying 20k for school & tests

It's gonna cost me about 15K, but that includes the vouchers for certifications and I will have an Associates Degree even if I don't pass all of the certifications.

SO what If I wanted to buy the books and study from home and then just go and write tests?
