Jobs to go for?

I'm coming to the end of a four year MEng in Computer Science (& Cybernetics) so will soon be going for my first full time job...

I'm interested in being an inventor/researcher for whatever company... I've been looking at graduate jobs and none seem to match this.. Do these jobs exist? If so where can I find out about them?

Surely every new technology that comes out someone working for some company somewhere had to invert it, yeah?

research department of intel is alway looking for people. I know because i had a friend drafted to em from an other company. litteraly they just drafted him because he was so good.
Just apply for research departments at major corperations. or become ur own little business have a few employees and sell ur inventions to major corperations
