IEEE Computer Society

I got a letter to join this, $55 for half a year. I am a Cobol/Unix programmer with no database experience and would be interested in the e-classes they offer. Has anyone joined the society and used the classes? Thanks for any info!

I am part of IEEE, but haven't used their e-classes. Will check them out. I used IEEE (during my masters) for downloading reserach papers. Didn't know they had classes!

Thanks!!! They are free to members, could you look at one (maybe oracle) and let me know if it is worth it?
