I recently applied for a school offering technical certification programs with job placement incurring an average of 95% employment within a month of completion with the school. The degree/certifications that I was looking at was a Diploma for Management Information Systems that I would have completed within a year with 68 credits of weight to it. The total cost of this program is $16,250, but it includes all your test fees for A+/N+/Security+/MCP/MCSA/MCSE/CCNA/CCDA, and Planet3's Wireless# and CWNA certification exams. It also includes unlimited lab time, personal tutoring, and the average starting pay, with the companies they employ from, ranges from $40 an hour to $60 an hour. However, my dilemma constitutes that I am broke, the only person I know with good enough credit to co-sign for this school loan will not do it, and I have no way of coming up with that kind of money by October 7th. I live in St. Augustine FL, within reasonable driving distance between Daytona and Jacksonville. My question is, are there any colleges that offer all of these things, or anything close enough, along with the certifications in this area? I'd really much prefer to go with my original choice of school; however, my life is one bad luck downward spiral event after another. I've looked online, but from what I've seen, no colleges cut anything even close to what this school offers. Any suggestions as to what I should do? The only reason I inquire about this is because I am in the National Guard, and they're willing to pay full tuition to any public college in Florida, but they do not pay for this school. Am I just better off getting a second job and toughing it out until I have the money, or is there a reasonable alternative?
