If I could go to school full time to get a degree I would, but I have bills to pay and just can't do it. I'm on unemployment and not really sure if I'll be able to get enough of an extension to finish the CCNA class, but I have no other choice so I gotta do whatever I can. That's why I'm hoping I can get a job pretty soon to at least get my foot in the door, start gaining experience, and have a paycheck coming while I can keep going to school.

But yes, if I had the ability I would definitely prefer a degree over certifications in a heartbeat!
