WTB: 2 x 1GB DDR400 RAM

I'm looking for an additional 2 gigs for my comp. I can buy from Newegg or Tigerdirect for $40-50 (inc. shipping), but I figured I would see if anyone had some decent RAM gathering dust that they would be willing to part with for less than that

The main thing is that they work and are a matched pair. I would prefer better quality, but beggars can't be choosy. I realize that DDR is dead and gone but some of us have to make due with what we have.

Anyway, I will be ordering on dec. 31 or Jan. 1, so if you have any you better pipe up now.

I have some, and will be ordering new rig today or tomorow, I'll check if it works. There is 2x512mb Samsung and 2x512mb Buffalo.

No idea about timings mind, I'll ship it all for $30 if your're wanting.

I'm pretty sure i've got it... I think its some Value Patriot sticks. I know for a fact that I have 4 sticks, but can't remember what size they are each. It treated me well for 3-4 years... very nice set. I used it with my 4400+

I have some nice performance RAM in my rig now, but it won't affect my speeds hardly to use something like that.

aww just gave away 2x512 corsair ddr2 400 2-5-5-7 timings (overclocked and stable).. wish I saw this, I would have gladly given to you for shipping charges heh sorry bro.

I got some G. Skill DDR500 2x1gb sticks sitting here in the ex gf's computer... Probably shouldnt sell that yet

Also got a 1gb stick of Mushkin Redline DDR500

Thinking 60-70 for the set maybe? I bought it off someone here like a 2 years ago for like 220 yikes haha.

I think I have to RMA the mushkin redline. Have to set it up in a rig and run memtest on it.

those g.skill hz's were the best ddr kits around.... PERIOD... well 2x1gb kits at least...

they overclocked like mad crazy!!! and that price is really good u gave..... i remember buy each stick for around 110-120 dollars when they released

i managed 600 mhz out of my sticks back in the days... what a blast from the past
