| ok i recently had a problem with my motherboard and i had to change the MB and the CPU. now i want to cell my 1.4GHZ Athlon on ebay and i had a couple of questions: 1) wat would b a fair price for it considering im also throwing in my old heat sink and fan 2) how should i go about packageing it? i have this old plastic CPU packaging that has a spot for heatsink+fan and CPU but i think cpu's are secured in another plastic case just for them. and also should i put the whole thing in an anti-static bag? 3)the only thing wrong with my MB is that it wont send current to the CPU fan but everything else works it supports up to 1.5GHZ AMD, 4 IDEs, 3 SDRam slots , 6 PCI, 1 AGP and internal audio; would b worth an auction on ebay? |

| 89 - Athlon 1.4GHz 200 FSB $40 - Athlon 1.33GHz 266 FSB $69 - Athlon 1.3GHz 200 FSB These are pricewatch.com prices for new CPUs, you should adjust to used. As for packaging, sure if you have a static bag bigenough and the pins are protected, go for it. Also since you processor does not get that hot you might could get a fan that plugs into the power supply and not the motherboard.
