Hi, I have a mint condition Toshiba Laptop. I purchased this laptop 3 years ago from circuit city. I just replaced the screen so its nice and bright

Yes sir. I copied my specs off the Toshiba site. Oh and that link you provided doesnt show that the processor is Hyper Threading.

I'd take it if I didn't buy this lame HP a few months back... hah, I hunted for used laptops but couldn't find one with integrated wifi for under $500 (and a new one being just a little more).

looks tempting... i've been wanting to upgrade mine for a while now... but I don't know if I can drop the $400 right now... (college bill comes in soon, and I know they will want thousands....)

I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

Only things I'm wondering about are,

You say it comes with battery, hows the life on it?
Also, is there a free memory slot in it? do you know the maximum amount I can drop into it? Also, is that the screen flipped around backwards?
(any kind of warranty?)

Life is fine. Its mostly been run on AC. It might not be as good as it is new but its decent. Not sure about free memory slots but it can be upgradable to 2 gigs. screen flipped around backwards? I dont know what your talking about. No warranty. This computer is over 2-3 years old.

Heh... I looked closer, I thought the bottom two screens were one... my screen is set just dark enough that I couldn't see a break between them... and they are lined up so that it looks like the screen continues...

Is that an XP Pro key tag on it? Do you think you could open the slot on the bottom and check the memory? If you just replaced the screen then it should be an easy task.

I didnt actually replace the screen. I should of updated that in my thread. I thought my screen was messed up but I sent my laptop to a motherboard repair place and all they did was replace the MOSF power chips which fixed the problem.
