Needs a little work!!This is an AWESOME base to work with as it is fully functional in my testing..and you can actually use it as is, but would reccomend at least fixing the hinge problem

12GB HD (old one was broke so thew this in there to test an xp install)

14" LCD glass type display (very clean VERY nice)

Well this puppy was gonna be thrown in the garbage so I decided to disect it to see what was going on with it.

It appears it was dropped upon inspection, but suffered little damage! Exterior is a nice shiney very shiney like glossy finish in a dark burgondy (sp?) color...looks like a car exterior freshly waxed. Only a couple barely noticble wear and tear marks.

Hard drive was shot and the caddy/adapter seems to have had a corner plastic piece chipped off, but I installed a 12GB laptop HD I had lying around and it installed XP Pro and booted/operated with no problems.

The right monitor hinge for sure broke. I have the piece that broke off. It still stays up when you open it just fine and closes ok. You can feel the hinge moving up and down though and making the case a little squeeky.

If I had time I would actually fix this for myself and keep it! It is very nice. Dont know what to ask for it all..sooo...

Ok looks like that actual left side monitor hinge is not sitting flush with the back plate, but I blame that at my attempt to reassemble a laptop..I hate working on laptops with a passion thus why I want someone else who is good with them to pick up on this nice project.heh. Still open and closes fine more of a looks thing. The right side is the side with the broken hinge..and it sometimes pops up the plate where the power button and other buttons are only if you bend the monitor screen far back enough though...which I dont see a reason you would ever have to make it go that far back.

I tried to take some pics with my cell phone and they came out crappy..but better than nothing I say..also I dont have a hosting thing so trying this free site I came across.

Is that price right? 6,000 ? They go on ebay for under 500 in perfect working order and a little more punch that a 12 gb hardrive...

If thats a typo, and I think it is...I would be willing to take it off your hands...

Any reasonable offer will most likely take it. If I get low balled to much I might just bite the bullet and fix it and keep. Very nice laptop. Yes I posted a price because it is the law around here..but of course OBO meaning Or Best Offer

yes buddy..I saw the mini PCI Intel wireless card myself..I just didnt install any of the drivers..didnt want to waste the time as someone will most likely want to throw a larger..much larger..lol. hard drive in it.
