Default new laptop

just curious if anyone knows the value of a t60 lenovo thinkpad ibm laptop with a
x1400 512 video ram
3 gigs of ram
t2500 core duo 2ghz
1oo gig hdd

im curious because my brother got me one for free and i just want to know the price so i can give him money (USD) for being such a good brother

iv googled it numerous times and cant find my exact specs ive found similar without the x1400 512 ram theyre all x1400 128 and only 1 gig of ram not 3 gigs im assuming this one was beefed up, ill edit this when i get another wifi location to download cpu z

It is my opinion that you have a high-end laptop. Not the absolute best for gaming, but still a very solid all around machine.

In the review they ran Doom 3 on medium settings. That sounds like a decent machine to me.

I looked at some more recent editions of the T60, and to purchase the entry level one is over $1000. The high end ones go for almost $3000. yours should fall in the upper mid range and go for about 2100-2500. Nice rig!

Anyway, tell your brother thanks and throw some cash his way, but i wouldn't let him what it would cost to buy a new one.

yeah, that's a pretty nice laptop...I'd estimate it around $3,000 USD. (I say that because that's a pretty decent graphics card for a laptop and I couldn't configure it with 512MB video memory)
