| Re: might sell a computer Hate to jump on the band wagon here, but that price really is way out in left field. Only a succer would buy it for that price..but you would be surprised Not even with the 19"LCD monitor and everything could you get that much. It is simply out dated for that price range.
Take a quick look at the break down in parts purchased new at todays price rate...and that is new. Even if your machine was just used one time all the parts are no longer new, but used which is usually at least 50% lower than the new purchase prices in the computer world...sucks I know but I been there. Had to sell my desktop for $450 that cost me $1,700 to build a couple years ago.
160GB SATA drive-$50
2X1GB OCZ DDR400 RAM sticks-$130
Athlon 64 3500+ processor-$50
mid range Athlon 64 Mobo-$50
mid range Power supply-$60
Radeon X1600 Pro-$90
52x CDRW drive-$20
$450 |

| Re: might sell a computer Yeah, basically, as soon as you dont want them, or you want money back in their place, computer parts are just one huge kick in the shorts. |

| Re: might sell a computer idk what your not seeing man but that pc is not worth 1200
one dude even built it brand new for less then 500 put it on ebay and maybe youll get 600 for it but your lucky if you even get that much, to be honest that isnt a very good computer nowadays, its still decent but not high end at all and your asking a very high end price.
for 1000 bucks i could build a bad *** core 2 rig that would slay that one your selling |

I work in a computer shop, and I can offer a C2D gaming rig with 19" monitor that would lay that system to waste for AU$1200.
My sister just purchase from me the following
Athlon x2 5600
2Gb DDR II Ram (2x 1gb stick)
Gigabyte N95 SLI Motherboard
GeForce 8500 256 MB video card
And those parts (all new) work out to be about AU$700.
Please note that I am talking Australian Dollars here too. And because we are in the "*** end of the world"*, we are normally paying another 30% on top of the exchange rate due to shipping the goods there.
* Quote from former Australian Prime Minister Paul Keeting.
I suggest you re-think how much you are wanting to sell that thing for.

| Re: might sell a computer I built that computer about 1 year ago and spent $1,000- $1,200 cause the cpu was $200, windows xp $200, computer case $80, keyboard and mouse $30, motherboard $100, 2gb of ddr ram $200, graphics card $120, hard drive $60, cd rom drive $30, and I am putting in a fan controller with a fan for $30, and had to add the time it took to mod that fan which was about 1 hour to mod the 80mm fan but then i decided to make it 120mm so that too another 4 hours.
Oh and since i built it I only put about 10 hours on it max. |
