Shortly after placing your order, they'll email you complete instructions for validating your Academic Eligibility. The easiest way (and the method I chose) was to print out the email they sent me, and use that as the cover page to fax a copy of my student id. Alternatively, you can scan the required information and email it to them.

Last, but not least, use the instructions from DailyTech.com to do a Clean Install (so XP doesn't have to be installed first).
