| Looking for donated upgrade parts (LGA775 - DDR2) I am cruising on a s939 4200+ X2, a DFI mobo, and DDR RAM. It works great, but I want MOAR POWAH!!! My mom is giving me a late birthday present in the form of an upgrade. I have very limited funds so I'm not looking for brand new stuff. With several upgrading to i5/i7 I figure I would ask to see if some of the old hardware was available.
I would like to find a CPU/mobo/RAM combo, preferably a quad, ATX, and 4GB. I am an AMD guy, but I'll take what I can get. I plan on using all the rest of my current hardware, but will take any extras anyone is willing to toss in. I am still unemployed so this is my only opportunity to grab any MOAR POWAH! I have a total of $120 PayPal, period. EDIT: Well, my funds are now gone. v8killaz sold me his GTX 260. However, I am not above accepting donations.

| You must have missed that part. I would love to buy them, but I am rather limited in my resources.
All I need are the CPU, mobo, and RAM. I realize I may not get what I would like to have, but I am hoping for something a bit better than what I currently have. |

| Re: Looking for upgrade parts No one? C'mon, now.
I'd be happy with a decent AM2+ dual core, a decent ATX AM2+ board, and some DDR2. I'm holding off using it for anything else for now; that way I can reuse my 4200 in my wife's PC when I swap out the other parts (she's on a socket A 2000+). |

| Re: Looking for upgrade parts I should have some DDR2-800 1GB sticks you can just have. It's not high performance or anything, but it would be completely free. Just need to figure out what my daughter did with it.

| Re: Looking for upgrade parts I have a spare Phenom 9600 Black Edition
Also, the X2 550's can usually be unlocked to 4 cores (you just need a motherboard with ACC for it)
