Default How to trade?

Right now I am in the process of making a hardware exchange. Is there an easy way to do this? How would you guys recommend trading something with a complete stranger?

I generally just trust people...and expect the same - we both have what the other wants. So, things like "I'll send this once I get yours" just annoy me as it wastes so much time.

...and of course, send it with tracking of some sort (UPS, FedEx, USPS Delivery Confirmation etc.), this part is a must.

Happy to say, I've not had a problem doing this.

Trust... A total stranger gives you change in the store... Do you count it to make sure it's right? most times, I don't... same principal. As Vormund said... as long as you get some tracking (if possible) then it's all good... if you paying for something then use something like paypal, or some other way of tracing/ refunding money if something goes wrong. but most times if it's from someone on here, your good. it may be late in shipping sometimes, but just about everyone here is up front about a sale/trade...

The person I'm trading to recommends we both send each other 50 cents in paypal, and then take the addresses from the transaction and use them to trade the products. I'm not quite sure that I understand the point behind this. Shady? or no.?

It's not that I have anything against crysalis, it's just I've never traded anything, and I'm sure you could understand my uneasiness about trading a 50 dollar piece of hardware. Anyway crysalis, I'll be ready to send that 50 cents probably tomorrow. sorry for the delays.
