Free upgrade to 2GB DDR2-667 RAM and a 160GB 5400RPM Harddrive on, I think, all Inspiron laptops...at least the new ones. supposedly $275 value or something like that.

yeah, but it's a dell laptop...they're not so bad, mine ran just fine before I sold it for rent money when I moved into a new house (the only reason I sold it)...I'll definitely admit the desktops are horrible though.

Their desktops are horrible but their laptops are alright.

As a Dell Field Service Technician (whom doesn't earn commission) and former Geek Squad "agent" I can safely say they have some quality laptops. They have come a long way since a few years ago, but their desktops still remain..... not so great.
