| Ultra Techie | I'm quite sure almost everyone here uses paypal. It's safe, fast and really easy. If you get scammed then you can get your money back anytime. But on tech forums most people aren't smacktards and do as they say. Ask around about the seller if he/she is reliable. That is the only way to know.

| At least for my part. I look at who it is selling and then contact them to figure out the details. and yes, I use paypal for the most part. I also do as I say I'm going to do, and expect the same in return. So it is part "faith" that it will be done... Of course. but as stated, for the most part (with exceptions of course, not everyone will do as they say) people here are honest in they're selling, buying or trading. |

| What I've sold thus far has been with a money order (which required faith on the buyer's part). I've bought with a personal check and PayPal (PayPal took a week to clear my payment, what's up with that?). The main thing is get to know the person you're buying from/selling to. I guess people realize that I'm not going anywhere, and that I am going to deal on the up and up. That, and I have friends who can find anyone who tried to screw me over. ![]() |

| I use Paypal for speed and security, I've bought and sold a couple of things on here. You can also set up an ebay auction too if you want extra protection. When the item and price are agreed upon the seller creates an auction and links it to the buyer.
