They are selling the Intel core 2 quad q6600 with an ECS motherboard for only $199. Yeah the motherboard is really cheap, but you get both for only $199. What a freakin deal. Here's the link to the rest of the ad, just click on fry's and download it as a PDF.

Man, you guys are killing me with these deals. About ready to say screw it and just get something new.

Is this deal only in store or can you get it online to?
I get a error when trying to view the deal but is there a possiblity of these being G0 or are they all older ones?
Is that board decent for overclocking. I know its not the best but could it at least overclock a little?

P.S. BiGyLiLuPdAmIdL, have you tried to flash your gto to a xl? I did it to mine and it worked really good.

That might be worth staying up until 2AM and then going to frys and wait in line and wait for frys to open.

I wish I lived near a Fry's. I'm going to start camping outside Compusa at 3 am. Hope that's early enough.

I'm telling you lol, that's the best black friday deal so far. I don't think the motherboard is decent at o/cing though dario, but you could easily sell it like vernong said. but dario how did you flash the videocard to a xl? I might want to try that.

It would be nice to have a quad core but I really don't need it. I am a bit upset about missing the 2gb Corsair xms2 and am2 x2 4200 for $72 that was on newegg a few days ago.

As far as the flashing goes I don't have the link to the good guides but basically you get some files and put them on a floppy then just one a dos command to flash it. Not all cards can flash but most sapphires could. Heres a discussion on flashing the card. Post 45 explains it a bit

Here It Is For All To See, My Unlocked X1800GTO - Page 2 - Overclockers Forums (we can link other forums right?)

If you don't understand what its saying just google it a bit because there is some good guides out there. And if you can't find the files PM me since I probably still have them.
Flashing let me go from a 3dmark05 score of 8000 to 10000 when the card was overclocked.
