ADSL 1.5 down / 256 up also.

I am happy with it. I DL @ 155KBps consistantly and upload @ around 27KBps.

Anything below 128K would be considered unacceptable to most, but using dial-up for a long time will eventually cause adaptation to such slow speeds.

EDIT: I should probably add some more options to this poll.

Cable here as well.

I worked for years online, using dial-up and was always frustrated with the disconnects and slow loading pages. At the time, the small town I lived in, didn't have broadband. Man!!!was I happy when I finally got cable.

Pretty much the same here... I was in for a shock for several weeks when I got cable broadband a couple years back.

Home: 56k dial up (boo)
Office: adsl dunno what the modem speed is, but I average a respectable download of 36k per sec

I'm more or less happy with any internet connection
