Firefox Biznatches. Best choice I ever made switching from IE.

I just had to switch to Firefox, only because IE7 Beta2 always searches for a proxy server before connecting to Google. Something's messed up on it.

Firefox is my personal choice but it doesn't really come alive until you get some reasonable extensions.

I recommend these so if you're new to firefox check them out!

Tab Mix Plus (adds loads of extra functionallity to the Tabs inc my favourite having the tabs that were open when you closed the browser reopen when you load the browser up again)

No Script (shows you what sites are attempting to run java script on a particular page and blocks them, white/black listable)

Flash Block (Blocks flash from loading, replacing the flash with symbol you can click to allow, also white listing)

Mcafee Site advisor (shows in google which sites are unsafe and for what reason, virus download for example)

Adblock (blocks a list of ad servers and risky sites)
