At first glance, it looks like the 7800GTX has a slight advantage over the X1800, but not that much considering it has 24 pipes and the X1800 only has 16. However it looks like its going to be a much closer race this time than the 6800 vs. X800 round, but still, Nvidia wins. P.S. Sorry if this is a repeat post, I've been gone all day.

| 7800gtx beats X1800 xt and 7800GTX is cheaper

| I believe ATI has already taken steps at becomming more of a low-end chipset and console graphics manufacturer. I believe with the failure of the X1800 series, Nvidia will gain a complete monopoly on the gaming market.

| i wouldnt down ati until the the actual cards hit the public market. alot of these OC'ers for instance over at XS know what they are doing and could easily put ATI r520's marks over the gtx. plus the ati r520 single card sotck clock 3dmark05 score was around 9,700 in 3dmark05 which is pretty impressive |
