I would buy HP because their laptops are good quality, they have competitive pricing, and they have a good cost = performance factor.

Well, HP, Toshiba, and Fujitsu are all solid. You could give me a Sony after all the crap they've been up to/put out. A MAc is a MAc is a MAc, and I don't use Mac.

I bought my daughter a Toshiba, so I know they're good. But, in the end, it comes down to who is going to give me the hardware I want, less of the crapware I don't want and will have to uninstall, and the best bang for the buck. I have no strong loyalties as far as that goes.

I like IBM thinkpads. My buddy just got one of the Panasonic tough books. That is a beast. Not practical but nice.

My dad works at HP and even he didn't, I would go with HP, all their stuff is REALLY Nice, the only complaint I have are the digital cameras, not so good.
Get the new models of HP at HP United States - Computers, Laptops, Servers, Printers & more. cant go wrong there, or if you're rich get an ALIEN, those things are amazing
